DHS / DCS & Hip Plates

DHS / DCS & Hip Plates

DHS and DCS are two different types of implants used in orthopedic surgery to treat fractures of the proximal femur, which is the upper part of the thigh bone near the hip joint.

DHS stands for "Dynamic Hip Screw," which is a type of implant used to treat unstable intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures of the femur. The implant consists of a specially designed screw that is inserted into the femoral head and a plate that is attached to the side of the femur with screws. The screw and plate work together to stabilize the fracture and promote healing.

DCS stands for "Dynamic Condylar Screw," which is another type of implant used to treat certain types of femoral fractures. The DCS implant consists of a specially designed screw that is inserted into the femoral condyles, which are the bony bumps at the end of the thigh bone. Like the DHS, a plate is attached to the side of the femur with screws to stabilize the fracture and promote healing.

We are leading Manufacturer & Exporter of DHS Plates DCS Plates and Pediatric Hip Plates. We are exporting DHS Plates DCS Plates and Pediatric Hip Plates to various countries like Mexico, South Africa, Mozambique, Sudan, Senegal, Namibia, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Ecuador, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Kenya etc.  Both DHS and DCS implants can be used in combination with a hip plate. A hip plate is a type of implant that is used to treat fractures of the femoral neck, which is the part of the femur that connects to the hip joint. The hip plate is attached to the femoral neck with screws and provides stability to the fracture as it heals.

Overall, the choice of implant or fixation method will depend on the type and severity of the fracture, as well as the patient's overall health and medical history. An experienced orthopedic surgeon will be able to determine the best course of treatment for each individual patient.
